Review Your Own Record Before Preaching to Others

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London, responding to the repeated claims of the President of the European Council against Iran, emphasized that before preaching to others, he should review the bloc's record regarding the violation of JCPOA commitments and its silence in the face of the crimes of the Zionist regime.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London, responding to the repeated claims and dual approach of António Costa, the President of the European Council, against Iran, emphasized that before preaching to others, he should review the bloc's record regarding the violation of JCPOA commitments and its silence in the face of the crimes of the Zionist regime.

The Embassy of Iran in London wrote in a post on X, "It is astonishing that European officials reproduce the same repetitive stances while ignoring the real sources of instability."

The post stated, "Iran's nuclear program was under the most extensive and stringent inspections in the history of the IAEA, while the Israeli regime has never accepted such oversight, and Europe conveniently remains silent about this."

The Embassy recalled, "Iran signed the JCPOA in good faith; the United States withdrew from it, and Europe failed to fulfill its commitments. Iran nonetheless adhered to its obligations for one year, while sanctions from Europe were intensified."

"Now you speak of 'addressing concerns'?" The post emphasized, "The United States and the Israeli regime attacked Iran twice in the midst of negotiations—actions including assassination, targeting civilians, including an elementary school, and the destruction of infrastructure, constituting clear violations of international law—while Europe remained silent."

The Embassy stated, "Before preaching to others, it is better to review your own record, unless you are unwilling to hear it."
